map is ....

' Map is a graphic register of correspondence between two spaces, whose explicit outcome is a space of representation […] to map is in one way or another to take the measure of a world, and more than merely take it, to figure the measure so taken in such a way that it may be communicated between people, places or times.' (Cosgrove, 1999:1)

What is Map?

Here is my definition of Map.

- Map is a something which can help people to find out where they are and how they can go to somewhere they want to go

- Map can also be a instrument to help us to understand and relate oneself with outside and other object/place/ideas etc.

- Map can be very personal and irrelavant to others if they don't understand the
symbol inself

- there is no use to have a map if we don't know where we are

- Map should be produce by someone who have been there before

- Map can be change over time
